 Although it has been three years since the government banned the life-threatening 'e-cigarette', the habit of vaping is making teenagers addicted to it. It can be said that there are three or four main reasons for the spread of vaping among children, let us understand them like a story. A girl/boy named Winnie saw a strange object through her friend and was attracted by it, The thing that attracted Winnie first was the “newness” factor.

-Although the habit of 'smoking and drinking is seen as very normal in society, many teenagers are aware of the health problems caused by it, so they try to stay away from those habits for their health, but when they know about the product 'vape', they switch to vape because Compared to cigarettes, vape is heavily promoted as being less harmful to health and serves as a “cool and new replacement to a cigarette”

As Winnie learns about the item, she becomes more and more fascinated by the colorful pods, cartridges, and bottles filled with flavored e-liquid, or vape juice.

-Vape is available in more than a hundred varieties, including chocolate, vanilla, apple, mint, coffee, and other star flavors making it a product that appeals to you as if it was created for you.

Vinnie did not have any problem in terms of money to buy a vape, because in India vape is available from Rs.100 to Rs.7000, When Vinnie wants a vape, she tells a friend in her circle of friends, or buys it online through Instagram pages.

_Because of the ban on vaping in India, the vape available to us is imported from other countries, countries like China, Vietnam, and Syria sell it, vape dealers hire teenage kids to sell vaping, making vaping very accessible to buy and sell among teenagers.

Many children like Winnie are becoming victims of this addiction without knowing it, starting with vaping,  many children are falling into a trap of cigarettes and drugs, vape does not have the smell that comes when smoking, apart from that, vape smoke is very sweet flavored, making it unnoticeable. The main reason for vape sales is teenage users, we need to raise awareness about vaping among teenagers, which means we should sit and talk with them about it, the ingredients used in a vape, explain case studies without judgment, let them know about rehabilitation centers, help them to come out of the cycle.
